Problem solved. TF2 errors and crashing

I'll join a server, see the map littered with the big red "error" icons, TF2 will then freeze and crash. It happens so quick I can't get a screenshot

This is happening on official Valve maps, not just custom maps. I haven't messed with my game settings or files at all. I did revert to older video card drivers to fix my drivers randomly failing then recovering but I switched back to the newest drivers I was using to see if it fixes the problem and it didn't. I have a feeling it may be something with the recent update but no one else seems to be having this problem

I'm on Windows 7 64 bit, video card is a 8800M GTS

OK I am going to go cliche here. Have you tried turning it off and turning it back on again? restart Steam, computer, etc?

TF2 started downloading something and it started working again. I may of not gotten the update or something, but its fixed now
