Why should you be unbanned?
So, I got banned for my IP being the same or similar to another steam user.
I have no idea who this is, but it's not me. I don't know how IP's work but couldn't they also live in a similar area as me?

Nonetheless, I am going to assume it was a cheater, and maybe cheats have an IP changer, or stealer.
I know nothing about cheats for tf2, but I'm just assuming a cheater used my IP.

infact, if its that much of an issue I'll just let my friend know what happened and we'll cut ties with him, not like you'll unban me, just because I have a friend that is a friend of some guy I know as well irl.
