Have every mic setting at loudest, the only time you hear me is when I have mic amplifier at max, and even then it's lotsa static. I use Deltaco HL-41. Post if any other information is needed.

Are you sure you've plugged mic in a proper jack?

If you are sure - try re-installing drivers for this headset (if such exists). Also, what happens if you plug any other mic in? The same crap?

Mmmm, Del Taco! Used to eat there in the 80's in Southern California... Make sure it's in the right jack, what sound card are you using? Onboard sound or sound card? Is there a Line In jack?

Yep.

None exist, just checked.

Nope, has worked with every other mic.

I'm suspecting that the mic is just too far from away, it's basically 1 dm distance from the middle of my mouth to the mic.

I have the same exact problem with my mic, I have to use the amplifier. :/

Looks like headset's mic is either complete CRAP, or is broken.

EDIT: trying to make crappy mic work is like listening Anal Cunt on Bose hi-end stereo system. Useless waste of time.
