Steam summer sale trading cards expire?

It's coming to that time where the steam summer sale ends, where it will take away the smacking sales on games.. But...
Does this mean that the summer sale "Trading Cards" will get wiped
or will people be able to still get them on the "Steam Market" and "Trading with other people" or will they get totally wiped from everyone but still keeping the badge?

theres already 40k+ for each card in the market so i doubt it'll go up
