Simple question. Will a USB 3.0 flash drive run faster in this scenario than a 2.0?

Also does eboostr actually do anything?

Assuming you have 3.0 ports, yes. Second question, not really. It's significantly slower than actual ram, I suppose it's better than nothing, but not much better.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=20-211-572 this is a nice and cheap 16 gig 3.0 usb drive it would be good for a desktop but if you are planning on using it for a laptop you might want to go for those tiny compact usbs but I haven't seen/look to see if any of those support 3.0 yet

Was about to say the same since my MB has 3 USB 3.0 ports and all of them are white.
