Problem solved. Shift+Tab Broken for Steam

Here is my current overlay settings:

In TF2, no matter how many times I mash SHIFT + TAB, nothing happens. I just want to know if there is some sort of fix for this, thanks!

No, not really. I've sat in game for awhile just seeing if it was slow to load and nothing came up

Huh, even weirder. There is no GameOverlayUI.exe in the process manager. Steam I guess is not running the file upon start-up, any suggestions?

Do you have steam overlay checked in Steam preferences?

Have you restarted your computer since then?

Might also need to just reinstall Steam. Sounds like gameoverlayui.exe might be corrupt/missing if it's not showing up in your task manager.

I have restarted multiple times and reinstsalling steam does not effect it.

Well, the most painless fix for most steam problems is to delete every folder/file (except Steamapps and steam.exe), and then just run Steam. All the necessary files will be re-downloaded and your client will be fresh.

Yeah, I ended up doing that and it got fixed. I hope it doesn't happen again :)
