Detailed Explanation / Screenshots / Demos:I was approached by the user, who expressed interest in my Unusual Taunt: Square Dance (effect Infernal Flames). They wanted to purchase it for 52 keys. However, before the trade was to begin, the user insisted that I hire a SteamRep Administrator to "check the item", in order to see if it was glitched or scammed.
The user then pulled up the links of three supposed Steamrep Admins (direct links to profiles, not to SteamRep website), and asked me to add one of them. I instead went to SteamRep directly and added one of the admins there, Sargent (MCT) HG-A. The admin informed that item verification was a scamming technique, and helped me to make this report and tag the user.
