Someone, who I bet quite a few have heard of, named "Nikola" or "˘ω˘", has had their account compromised (or their rogue). The hacker is using his account to scam other users into that good ol paypal trick. I didn't comply at all with the scammer, so I don't know what else he does, but I'm sure the goal is to steal your account and money.
If the scammer fails, he shows you fake images of him supposedly changing your password. This is obviously fake thanks to mobile authentication and it being impossible to do that, to begin with, however, uneducated users may cave in and comply with the scammer. He's trying to make you believe he has your account for ransom.
If he's on your friend's list, REMOVE HIM!
