Re-skins does not have crits

On saxton hale la, theres two classes which gives crits for their secondary; the engineer and the scout. However, when it comes to reskins like the capper for a instance, it does not give crits. It's been a problem recently as I like to show off my sweet professional strange capper, but only to fall short because I can't have crits because of a reskin

I want to use the Shooting Star instead of the Machina, but it doesn't always deal 512 damage (on fully charged)
