Problem with VAC connection on Dustbowl

I was playing on us21.skial.com - Dustbowl a few minutes ago when I got an error: "A connection to the Steam VAC Servers could not be made." Then something about going to costumer support. When I rejoined many other players complained about the same error, and we lost our inventory for a few minutes before getting it back. Then it happened again. I rejoined and played for a bit. Then again. I then came to the forums to ask wtf was up. Is this the servers fault (some ppl were saying that may be it should be restarted) or somehow Steams? Whats going on?

We got that on 5Gorge, too. I think the Steam update fuxored something up on their end.

I don't think its our servers. VAC and backpacks are handled by steam.
