I was wanting to know how you type a strange name in for a report like the one I had today?

Do I just find his profile on steam and copy/paste?

You just copy & paste yes

Yes indeed, just copy from his Steam or our Hlstat page, but it is sufficient enough when you provide only the Steam ID, like you did.
