Invalid Playermodel mod (Changes merc's model) not working and invisible. Already verified.

I downloaded a playermodel mod (Not sure what to call it but it's a mod that changes the merc's model) and had it verified at the website https://mods.skial.com/
After that, I then placed the verified file to custom, went into 2fort and the model is just invisible.
Are custom playermodels not allowed or am I just doing something wrong?
