Problem solved. Ping much higer than normal on NY servers

NY servers are usually about 90 - 100 ping for me but all of the sudden today all NY servers I connect to have 180+ ping. All other servers my ping is perfectly normal, but NY servers specifically my ping is extremely high. It's odd as I never had this problem before. I was even playing Jailbreak NY just fine 20 minutes ago, quit TF2 for a bit, came back and my ping is suddenly through the roof on NY servers only.

Any idea what could be causing this / how I can fix it?

I was experiencing rubber banding on Dustbowl NY2 just a little while ago. It did't last long and had it only a couple times. Don't know if it related to your issue or not Meow.

My ping is stuck at a solid 190+ without going down so I don't think it may be related

Checked back later tonight, ping went back to normal. My internet has been weird all day but things have been going back to normal

It looks like the route for NY servers changed. I'm experiencing 130ms latency on all NY servers and it was used to be 40ms.

The latency starts growing on NY hop:

Then the first timeout occurred:

And, finally, I lost connection to the server completely:

Thanks I noticed this too and I sent it to support.

As you can see they changed from Tinet to Level3 so they are doing something.
