When it comes to watching a film, the trailers are extremely important to give your audience a ruff idea as to how it looks - context - CGI, etc. Leaving you on the edge of your seat and giving yourself a reason to get out the house, maybe it's a film related to something you love? However, if done badly then people won't even bother watching it and everything backfires. Yet, it's crazy to believe that some bad trailers turned into golden films - but then you've got opposites where the trailer is amazing but the film sucks.

I wouldn't be able to consider counting how many trailers I've watched, but I'm curious as to what has really grabbed your eye and made you feel wonders afterwards. (I know one of you plebs will be posting Marvel trailers)

You can also post the worst type of trailers you've seen so we can all experience the beautiful cringe.

I'll be posting current year trailers I love then going backwards through the years.

As a huge Connery/Brosnan Bond fan, not letting people that find everything problematic ruin Bond for me, Spectre was pretty epic to see Spectre as a group return to the film considering they're technically older than Hydra from Marvel which was bigger at the time this came out since Winter Soldier came out the year before. Hard to appreciate it without watching the older films which is less common that people have now. Also Connery is the best Bond, Craig is the second best Bond, fite me.

Also, I'm obligated to always include Alien in best trailer conversations.

You've gotta admit though, Daniel Craig does deliver as Bond.

Casino Royale is in my top 3 favorite Bond films behind Goldfinger and maybe Thunderball, such a great film, and Skyfall is way way up there. Quantum of Solace not as much but definitely highly ranked overall. I need to rewatch Spectre but it's probably higher up than QoS.

Edit: I think the Spectre trailer I linked wasn't the one I was thinking of. Here is the correct one.

I love Mads Mikkelsen.

(I'm super hyped for THIS) (apart from the legendary Heath Ledger Joker, all the others were crap) (Joaquin Phoenix will make Suicide Squad look like a trash can) (we don't talk about that film) (this trailer deserves an Oscar)
