My SFM is broken [Thanks Valve for fixing my stuff :D]

So, like the title says. I've been having some really annoying problems with SFM in the past month or so.

So what's happening? Well, the problem is with items in the TF2 universe. New items from TF2 are not installed, as with the new unusual hat effects, and some items do not appear whatsoever (such as the Kringle Collection).


Is there anyway to fix item models and import the new item models into SFM?

And no, copy and pasting from the TF2 content vpk into the TF2 folder in SFM does not work, as I get an error with gameinfo.txt on startup.

No, uninstalling does not fix it, I've tried 3 times already.

Never tried it so this might sound dumb but have you tried reinstalling that fixes most steam game problems

Hello again my friends. I am very happy to announce that I've made a huge leap forward in the restoration of my SFM. Recently, Valve has released a lot of updates to the SFM software.

They fixed the all-father:

It is no longer super bright and unpaintable. :)

However! There is still one huge problem, the Kringle Collection is SUPER BRIGHT:

Any idea how to lower the brightness of it? The arm bands are fine, it appears to only be on the collar of the coat.
