TL;DR A1 is a direct upgrade and near silent (!), but A4 is good for spraying and has a different recoil pattern. Never take the silencer off the A1, you fucking moron.

there has always been recoil. maybe less than the ak or m4a4, but it has a smaller mag, and less ammo.
Also if CT is really overpowered, it would makes sense they have an advantage, The maps are normally T sided :P
