We changed the way sounds get played, which stopped crashes from the dance Taunts and also led to the Frying Pan's being allowed once again (a major improvement in my opinion).
The Grapple Hook's sounds are repetitive, unnecessary and just plain annoying. If you are being Grappled, you can see the direction of the attack as well as hear your bleeding and do not receive any tactical information about the attack (even if there were any useful information needed on Trade/Idle). I have far too often seen the Grapple Hook used for trolling and griefing (the exact reason "Panning" was stopped).
My suggestion is this: Make the Grapple Hook's sounds like the Frying Pan's; inaudible to everyone but the user.
