Left Handed Viewmodels

What's the benefit? So far all they've done is given me a headache.
Edit: I remember lpN vaguely mentioning some benefit for right-handed players. I must've misheard or something.

If you hold the mouse on your left hand, it would seem more natural to have the gun on the left side too.

Well, with left hand models thought, you have to remember that the rocket* you shot (and bullets for guns and etc.) still come out of the right side even if you have left view models.

Even if you have left view models on, the other plays still see it on the right.

but on topic, yes, many people play it since they got used to it from other games that have left view models.
