Boss Buffs
  • Boss attack speed increased by 30%.
  • Boss move speed increase from 340-410 to 340-420 (based on missing hp).
  • Hale knockback taken reduced 0.5 -> 0.4
  • HHH knockback taken reduced 0.5 -> 0.4
  • Bunny knockback taken reduced 0.7 -> 0.5
  • All other boss knockback taken reduced 1.0 -> 0.8
  • Knockback taken in air reduced 0.8 -> 0.3
  • Heavy HP bonus reduced 150 -> 100.
Since the boss is more dangerous, these nerfs were needed.
  • Boss HP reduced.
  • Backstab damage increased from 4% -> 5%.
  • Sniper damage increased. Headshots 120% -> 150%, bodyshots 50% -> 75%
  • Airblast cooldown from pyros removed. Airblast will only push bosses away every 2 seconds.

These changes were needed as boss win rates have been low (10-30%) for many years with 1/3rd of the server having boss disabled. The strange thing was that it was always this bad since 1.55 which we were on for over 5 years when I did not make any balance changes, we just used public updates. And strangely people complained about bosses taking more knockback when they take less knockback than ever.

These numbers are subject to change based on how the win rates turn out.

We are trying something different instead of increased boss attack speed which might be too much of a nerf to melee classes.

Bosses now build up resist each second up to 20 seconds. If you rage or super jump, this is reset to 0.

Increased resist will give you up to a maximum of 50% damage reduction and 75% knockback reduction.

Max resist will now be reached in 12 seconds instead of 20 and will not be reset on rage.

Resist should now apply to backstabs, market gardeners, and snipes.

  • +15% attack speed back on boss
  • +10% boss health
  • -15% health on CBS and Vagineer
  • +200% -> +250% damage on Easter Bunny rage
  • Battalion's backup buff added on HHH teleport.
  • Airblast cooldown replaced with airblast resistance. It builds up every airblast and decreases every second. It is reset to 0 on a kill.
