Between 12:30am and 2am PDT on Tuesday, January 3, we will be upgrading our network switch in LA and migrating existing machines over to it. We expect for this to result in approximately 10-30 minutes of connectivity loss for your service during the maintenance window, as on-site staff perform the re-cabling.
This is a fully scripted event that we have done many times in the past at other locations, and we do not expect any difficulties with it. But, should the new switch have a problem, we will be ready to move back to the old setup. If we have to do this, there may be an additional short period of connectivity loss.
