Yes how do you know that the winner is picked randomly? Even if you play the middleman he can still pick one of his friends as a winner. Or am I missing out on something?

Also isn't it cheaper to enter with 8 ref for 4 numbers out of the raffle. 4 keys *2.33 ref (or 2.44 ref as spreadsheet says now) would be 9.33ref (9.77ref)
