HL Scout tips/advice?

I've recently started getting into highlander, so I was wondering if anyone has any tips or advice for playing as scout in HL

Watch flanks, do whatever damage you can. Focus on improving your aim and following objectives if you are not good at DM. If you are good at DM you can rush the team's flank and get a good 1-3 kills before dying and repeat.

what sens do you use? try using 15 inch

Well, I can say that Scout is an ambush class so you should not be good at direct combat. Scout's use is to deal good damage and run away.
I would also recommend using the Stock Pistol because it is the only means of escaping medium ranged combat.

5 inches? using 10 inch helps alot if you got the mouse pad for it, but you got to get used to moving your mouse around alot

talk all the time about what you see. Even if you think someone else has called it
Call your big damamge
Call your kills
If your dm is weak try to kite people back to the rest of your team.
If your dm is strong enough try to get one or two picks on a flank
Always go into fights with full over heal if you can get picks
Work on your dm, play some mge to figure out your movement.
Learn gay spots on maps.
