Approved Goldrush LA slot extension (32 slots)

Hey there,

I've browsed the entire suggestions forum real quick and couldn't find anything for this.

Here goes:

I've noticed and have played quite a bit on the skial.com | Goldrush + | LA 50.115.32.35:27015 server lately (specifically when the Chicago one is empty) and am wondering if we can extend its slots from 24 to 32, since it seems to be full all the time.
The same thing is already in place for the Chicago Goldrush server (46.21.154.180:27015) and obviously the Dustbowl servers, LA and Chicago.
This could accommodate more players, allow for more overall server traffic and potential forum traffic.
Of course, if there is a reason why it's not extending to accommodate 32 players like the others, please disregard this thread.

Well like I said, the Goldrush chicago server extends to 32 slots once it reaches 24. The LA server seems to be getting the same kind of traffic (always is full when I check it), so I'm just curious if it, too, perhaps could enjoy that extension. :P
 
i suggest talking to some of the regulars on LA Grush and see if they'd like an extension
 
Why not join the chicago 32 goldrush server then?

The LA one used to be 32 slots, but after Valve made their quickplay changes, it started emptying out too fast. I don't know if it has improved.

I will give it a try. It will change on reboot.
 
Thanks Bottinger! Like I said, the Goldrush Chicago server empties out earlier than the LA one due to being in a different time zone. At night it always seems to experience high traffic (is full) so this could allow more people to play on it (even if the Chicago is still full). I don't think there's a huge difference in lag between the 24 and 32 slot servers, although the 32 have a bit more to handle.
