From someone who doesn't play TF2 anymore and as a result doesn't know the atmosphere on Skial servers, so please take this with all the salt.

Why not just go back to no n-word whatsoever? It seems that the recent change causes more trouble by the fact that you often can't tell if the word ends with -a or -er. So why not ban it all and tell people to be edgy elsewhere?

Anyway, end rant.

Because Bot let us have freedom of speech one time and the reason he did it was because people were making there own Severs. But we all complained so he lets people say the N word without the er st the end.

Leaving it up to admin discretion sounds good on paper but realistically Skial would just end up with a different standard of what constitutes racism for every single admin.
Drawing the line at "nigga" being okay while "nigger" being still not okay isn't perfect but it at least matches up with popular sentiment.
IMO it doesn't really cut down on the volume of dumb appeals for racism silences but at least the optics of it are a little better.
