Free To Play: Valve's documentary coming next month

was my initial thought, but it looks like they put some good effort into the card stuff, and the movie has been a huge thing in the dota 2 scene for ages, so i highly doubt that this is an 'oops' thing. im just really curious as to whats going to come next that will activate them.

reason I said they screwed up is that not only are the DLC packs listed under DOTA2 DLC, but also listed as Free To Play DLC.
problem is, purchasing them only credits you toward DOTA2's $9/card thing and not the other's as well

well, they're packs of cosmetics, 3 items each.
another cosmetic DLC is TF2's Summer 2011 DLC, which is simply the Summer Shades. though the reason for this was so those who claimed it during the Steam Summer Camp event who had yet to ever play TF2 could still get the item, rather than having an error in the system due to giving an item to a not-yet-existant TF2 backpack
