Title explains it all, if you were declined, the ban appeal will be locked and the admin can give you reason why you were declined.
If you were accepted, you're unbanned and admin will recommend you to read the rules, the ban appeal will be locked if it's accepted.

Your thought maybe well meaning. However after many years of how the skial appeals section is currently formatted, imo , the appeals process is fine as is. The only times where "locking" becomes a necessity is when we have "unruly" individuals who won't accept reasonable explanations from the mods who adjudicated the factual evidence(s) submitted for server rule(s) violations.

On the matter of players appeals re: ip proxies and vpn's, the mods mostly investigate, issue a statement with reminders.

I don't believe it's necessary to create a sense of authoritarian culture for our community visitors.
