Post is same as title - Possible rework to Big Earner.

However, I feel as though not many spy players actually use this weapon, perhaps a rework to it could be possible.

Does anybody remember that dead community, Ozfur? I'm not advertising, however, I feel as though they had a unique type of backstab mechanic.

If my memory serves, the YER(?) In that mode had a unique attribute whereas the first two backstabs did 0 damage, however. The Third one would deal an increased amount. Say 15% Of the Boss's HP. (Just an example. I don't remember exactly how much it was.)

But, it could help to improve the variety of spy knives at their disposal from the usual Kunai + DR Spam.

So, for example.
- No Cloak on backstab
- No Speed-boost on Backstab
- 25 Less Health on wearer
- The First, and Second Backstab deal 0 Damage.
+ The Third Backstab would deal an increased amount.

This could either loop through, or maybe even stack to deal more, and more. However, I feel as though the loop would be more fair to the boss.

rewards spies for successful backstabs and gives them an escape or to continue a chain stab

I don't really see a point of reworking this weapon. It's mostly just a better alternative to stock if you can land your backstabs. You lose 25 health but get a good escape method for playing Spy effectively. Nothing really needs to be changed about that.

Also it would be pretty unfair to take Spy's rightfully earned damage away from him for two stabs and only give him damage every third stab. I understand that Spy shreds bosses right now and he has a gun to get damage too, but most Spy players want to go for backstabs, and seeing that two of their stabs do no damage and only every third stab does (even if it's some increased number) would probably deter people from even using the Big Earner in the first place.

Yeah. I'm in agreement, I was only believing in it as a type of concept, everything I said is obviously subject to change for balancing reasons, but. It could help reward good spy players with even chunkier backstabs, maybe even play a machina collateral sound for it?
