Declined [FF2] Boss Suggestion

    Hey! I am new to boss making and wanted to suggest my new boss.
    I thought Skial would be a good place as I have been enjoying the FF2 server recently.

    Frenzied Spy

    Health formula: (((790+n)*n)^1.04)
    Max speed: 340

    Dynamic Jump and Weighdown.
    Big Surprise!: Gives him a revolver with one bullet, but it's able to penetrate targets and deals high dmg.
    Party Frenzy: Gains speed boost, minicrits, knockback immunity, and 50% dmg resistance with crit immunity. It also makes the enemy team unable to be healed. All buffs and debuffs last 6 seconds.

    I will make any changes if needed, and any suggestions would help a lot.
    The Zip file on AlliedModders contains all plugins and everything needed for the boss.

    This, to me, seems like an interesting concept for a boss. I am curious about a few things about him though.

    1. How much damage will this revolver rage do, close range or otherwise?
    2. Will both rages be worth the same amount (i.e. both cost 100 rage to use), or will they be different values (i.e. one being worth 50 and the other being 100)?
    3. I’m not quite good with speed values and whatnot for the classes, so this may be a dumb question: how fast can this boss move? Is he normal Spy speed, but when he uses his rage, his speed jumps up significantly to that value you listed, or does he always move at that value? I’m assuming that the case is the former but I’m curious regardless.

    Other than that, this seems like a neat boss and I’ll leave a +1.

    1. Revolver can do around 450 dmg with 400 being the lowest and 500 being the highest while the minicrits make it 600 dmg. On headshot the dmg is 1k, but it has a dmg penalty against buildings.

    2. This boss only has one rage as both abilities are combined and meant to support each other.

    3. His speed makes him slightly faster than every class but scout, and his rage increases his speed up to 450hu which lets him outrun every class, but the rage is a short duration.

    Alrighty, thanks for answering. The revolver seems like a good tool for taking out overhealed players. The damage seems a bit high, despite it being one shot, but I haven't seen the boss in action so I can't make a call quite yet on whether or not it's overpowered.
    I do like that the two rages are combined into one though. Nice idea.
    His speed also seems fine.

    Two more questions I was meaning to ask as well:
    • How much damage will he deal normally?
    • How fast does he get rage?
    Definitely curious about the second question since the rages seem quite powerful, and I know that a lot of people would not enjoy it if he gets rage every few seconds.

    He does 180 damage per hit, and when he gains minicrits during rage it goes up to 243 damage.
    He gains rage every 2900 points of damage taken.

    Some people might want a nerf to the revolver damage and how quickly he gains rage, but overall, I'd say this is a pretty solid boss. Hopefully you'll get more feedback!

    Seems like a great idea for a boss. I quite like it. Only problem I have with it is how quickly the rage generates. Possibly 5000-6000 would be fairer since the rage does oneshot anything except a full overheal heavy at any range. One quick question about the debuff, does the no heal mean medics cannot heal teammates for the duration?

    Yes. When he rages nobody can be healed by anything for 6 seconds.
    I plan on changing the rage damage if it does turn out to be a problem.

    Im just a bit worried about it because medic would be rendered useless for a short while, and the revolver one shots anything other than full overheal heavy. Just seems a bit excessive.

    When testing it seemed to be fine, because the revolver only has one bullet. I will lower the damage dealt if it also becomes a problem though.

    I made changes to the boss that I believe after testing seem to work better.

    I nerfed the Revolver damage, so now with minicrits it can do 340 damage as lowest and 507 as highest.
    Without minicrits it does 183 as lowest and 376 as highest. A headshot being 756 damage.
    I also increased the amount of rage damage needed from 2900 to 3500.

    I Believe that these changes should help fix things up a bit.

    Hello thank you for your interest but we do not accept bosses that is just a reskin of a TF2 class and/or does not have unique rages.
