Favorite engine for modding?

    In my opinion, GoldSrc is the best for modding. It's very outdated, but if you don't mind lower graphics, but still want to make some cool maps and stuff. I used GoldSrc to turn TF2 maps in to TFC maps. However, I would like to expand my modding experience into other engines, do you have any recommendations.

    I can't say anything on this, since I have never made a map or mod, only thing I've ever done "moddy" was changing the texture of the door in Minecraft to have glass, and that was with a version where every texture was in 1 file

    everyone uses unity, even shitty games like cities skylines and rust
    the moddability is good too
