One of the major problems in deathrun servers is Hales that precociously end a round after they killbind. This behaviour makes deathrun a less enjoyable experience for lots of players, as they often do not get the chance to complete a round, which can eventually lead to them leaving the server. There is a plugin which disables killbinding at the start of the round, but Hales can still killbind after some seconds, so I do not believe it's very useful.
Therefore, to solve this problem, I think it would be best to always disable killbinding for Hales. This would help solve the problem of precociously-ended rounds. Technically, this could lead to another problem, which is Hales that cannot killbind after a bug or a glitch, however, players can simply start a vote to kill the Hale in that case, so that delaying does not occur.

This wouldn’t fix anything, hales will just retry in console or leave and rejoin instead.
-1.
If you mean at the end of rounds (hale knows they’ve lost and so kill bind before they die)
Then +1 for that. That is fucking annoying on PlayStation because you work the whole way up to the end of the minigame and the hale kill binds and so it doesn’t count towards percentage.

Some players might refuse to leave the server just to not play as the Hale. Another solution (of course, no solution is 100% efficient for this) could be making the player decide whether they want to play as Hale or not when they join the server, like some deathrun servers already do.

This was already addressed with the rule that was added a few months ago:
  • Intentionally suiciding or disconnecting as boss at the end of the round to annoy everyone else.
This is realistically the most they could do to address this problem. . If you see hale obviously killbinding on purpose when they lose, feel free to voteslay/kick. The second problem is whether people will go along with you an voteslay/kick hale or not.

Generally in the DR culture at the moment, it seems if you attempt to voteslay/kick a hale that obviously did this, it's a toss-up whether people will go along with it or whine that you're "salty".

+1 honestly adding a plugin where you cant killbind as death would be real useful, since nowadays in deathrun nobody gives a shit about rules and reporting rulebreakers
