So for those of you who use things like Dotabuff or other sites that keep track of in game statistics, you may notice that the information for certain players (including yourself) is often extremely out of date. You may also notice people being marked as "Anonymous." This is because Dota sets your matchmaking history to "private" by default, which limits stat tracking for 3rd party programs.
To fix this simply start up Dota 2. Then click on the settings icon (the little cog in the upper-left hand corner.) From there, click on the "game" tab, and then "general" sub-tab. At this point you should see a box that says "Share Match History." Just select "On" and you'll be good to go.

P.S. Keep in mind, some sites may require that you verify your account/information before updating the actual stats.
