So just to start off, Merry Christmas to all! Anywho, the furnace for our heater has died recently, and the temp I believe is around 16 degrees Celsius in our house. Our decently brand new ASUS CM6870-US-3AD desktop has been going crazy as well, although I am not sure if it has anything to do with the temperature.

At my first Google, some had their CPU fan go noisy due to heating problems (it was too hot, rather than too cold). So I downloaded a little program I remember from the days the crappy Lenovo touchscreen Thinkpad fan had problems too.

Now while I was taking a picture, my CPU usage just randomly hit ~25% and the fan noise increased.

Is this RPM normal? Does the current house temperature have any effect on the noise and such of the computer's fan?
