Since i am new to trading, i have a question. I gave a guy 2 regular weps and he gave me a rec. I was asking a scrap for each wep. That would be .11 more than i was asking for. I told him that is too much and he said it's ok. And we made the trade. Is there a recording chat log that if it comes back to bite me in the ass, it shows i clearly said he was paying too much?

No, theres no way to show the chat. It just shows the trade.

I wouldn't worry. Steam trading is safe. You have to hit "Accept trade" twice.
