I know you can convert a demo into a wmv.
but it be easier to pirate a copy of fraps, record a demo, record the demo with fraps, than upload it like that.

If you use the replay editor (lol) then there's a nifty little button that says "Upload to YouTube" if you have it (your YouTube acc) linked to your Steam i think. Or you'll just have to log in to YouTube when you press it.

play the demo, "startmovie [filename] avi".
Leave it until done

Or "startmovie [filename]" will save each frame as .tga. Use VirtualDub open up the directory with the .tga files and select video and audio file type.

If you open them in replay (which you do i think) then i don't see why not actually. Just try it.
