What you suggested did the trick, logging out, setting it to US and back in did the trick. It just seperates US/EU friend lists.
Setting Overwatch to EU region kept my record/stats. So did setting it to US.
I thought it might wipe stats if one switches between regions. But whatever it works and even better than I expected. Thanks.
