Back in TF2 after a year off...

Back in TF2 after a year off...
... and it really is a lot of fun.

I used to play on the skial servers but the community servers seem very quiet, sadly. However the valve randoms servers now nactually seem to host a lot of good games, not teams attacking with 4 snipers and 3 spies.

After playing PS4 games in the meantime, I really struggle with the constantly lurching framerate and an mostly playing support classes. I've turned a lot of stuff off but do you have any tips to help keep it at a smoother level?

It's too bad Reddit just white screens for me on my laptop otherwise I'd reply with some config advice cause a lot of configs are too outdated to be considered good anymore, like Chris's config.
