Why should you be unbanned or unblocked?:

This ban was made around 4 years ago because of a banned account linked by the same IP. The reason for not unbanning me was the risk of the same IP being used again to hack. I do see that there is risk of the IP being used again, but I don't play with other people on my network any longer and I don't use proxies or VPNs, so it should only be my own account showing up.

We don't unban cheaters or IPs that have been tainted by cheaters

Part of the problem is it’s your IP address from your house, so even if you say it was someone else in your house, there is no way to prove that.

How do we know definitively that it was your friend? What if you’re lying and it was your throwaway account?

There’s no definitive proof or evidence of your story. So the IP and accounts connected from it will remain banned.
