Hello,

I've been a regular at this server and I feel like this one is not justified for the following reasons:

1. I did not "voteslay" him because he was "just a kid." I did so because it was the beggining of the round and he was ghosting the opposite team on a 1 vs 1 match.

2. We only used the "voteslay" command, which as you know, only does one round of slay. As a community, the voteslay command exists to resolve issues that don't deserve an official ban, but is an issue that is frowned upon. I remember that 85% of the users voted yes with me, therefore the slay passed. If it wasn't me doing this, someone else would have done it. Admins would be micromanaging if the feature wasn't there. If we can't use it, then why would we be allowed to use this command?

3. B2 Hopeless, the user who reported me, has been wanting to get me banned for a while because we talk shit to each other all the time and he can't stand it. See the resolved report below where he and his friends abused the !votereport command by trying to report me of racism:

If this gets resolved, I will be following suit to ban him for blatant report abuse.

From the looks of it the issue was more that he was a kid giving away your location.

But as @RMSniper placed your ban ill let her resolve the issue

Everything Sakiko added is correct. I find it extremely hard to believe you were not jumping on the bandwagon of everyone calling him a squeaker and either typing !ignore or trying to silence him. Either way, your reasoning for using voteslay is incorrect. Our votemenu system does not exist for things that don't require "official action." It also doesn't exist for mob mentality. Just because everyone votes yes on your vote slay does not mean you're all using the rules properly.

I will consider reducing your silence and/or removing the mute to allow you to use the mic. You have to let me know you've re-read the rules and understand them, as well as what you did wrong.

Thanks for considering reducing it. I have read the rules and understand them as well. I actually don't even own a mic and rarely type, but thank you if you consider reducing the silence.

The saxton hale server is fun and different from a regular TF2 match. There are so many "unofficial" rules that are frowned upon and I honestly thought that the voteslay was there for these types of situations. These "unofficial" server rules are what make the place fun sometimes. The reason I typed "Teach this kid a lesson" was because the lesson is to not ghost. Which I get is not officially against the rules. There is no audio or anything else to it.

Also, I wasn't even able to play on the prematch so, it wasn't me that the user was ghosting. I was just one of the players that saw this happen and thought I would act upon what the community wanted. I will not do so next time.
