Yeah when I talk on my mic in tf2 my mic sounds normal and stuff but when I talk everything is quiet which I don't like how do I fix it?.

this is for windows seven,
right click your volume icon in your tool bar on the bottom right of your taskbar thingie (next to the time)
select sounds
hit the communications tab
select "do nothing"
hit ok
