Allowing other team into spawn on the idle server.

Why is there a way for players to get into the opposing team's spawn? That's terrible map design.

It's an idle server, why does it matter who accesses what spawn?

Its from the "skybox". Getting there in the first place isn't excessively easy, and it's pretty fun, so why not?

It can keep active players on one team from actually using the map. Especially if some engies set up their sentries.

I've played on that server quite a bit. Spawncamped and have been spawncamped, its not hard at all to clear campers or a sentry nest if you just spawned.
The sentry will be targeting ~7 people, its easy to take it down.

It also gives people an incentive and a reward for getting to the skybox.

Awesomebox originally only had 3 exits out of spawn, I only added the 4th exit that drops down to the idle chute walkway to give that area a little more activity, and it works

A lot of communities like to take the map and remove key elements of what made the map so popular, such as spawncamping, skybox teleporters, etc. I'm never going to change these key design choices.

My only recommendation is you learn the map's secrets and learn how to not get pounded in spawn.
