if someone doesnt show genuine interest in keeping the community safe, how can we rely on them to be admin without them showing to us at least some interest?

im sure they would've been great, but this was pointed out to them 3 days after his application and there was no progress shown from them.

So let me get this straight, does it just mean we could have a person nobody likes and gets constantly downvoted but they report 1000 people and play a-lot on the server? Or do votes count, but the admin needs to do more than have positive votes!

i never said that? ofc getting support is very important to show if people actually like you or not and you actually care for the community or not.

but activity is still more important, they havent been active in a month now, and barely for the past few months.
i know they've been getting some support but so did the other applicants.

so, to answer your question, they need to do more than just have positive votes yes.
