The sun beetles are doing perfectly fine. Constantly coming out to eat and laying eggs, meaning they're feeling safe and content with their home.

TL;DR: beetle babies might eat the cricket eggs, will have to update once or if they hatch

Thing is, I do see some eggs laid up against the glass, though the mealworm love to tunnel. As long as all they're doing is knocking the eggs around, there shouldn't be a major minimum amount of hatchers

I've eaten crickets they are healthy

They are, and so have I. They're also stupid easy to take care of. I recommend the breed I take care of, Banded Brown, as they're soft and easier to digest. Plus whatever you feed them alters their taste

Seperate note and something you may find interesting, in your abscence I purchased a small fish tank, planted it out and bought some Ember Tetras, figured to keep the algae down I bought a Nerite snail and 3 x Cherry shrimp (crystal blue). one shrimp dies a few days in, now a few months later I have around 200 shrimp in the tank, they just wont stop breeding.
