I was told the game was good from the start, then just gets awful. Considering he's 100%'d the game and we always make jokes about 2b and 9s, I trust his opinion.

I think you misinterpret what people mean by awful. The game does get awful, not in mechanical or gameplay wise, but the story will put a dagger in your fucking chest as awful things happen to everyone you ever cared about.

No no no, he actually meant it sucked. I haven't played it but he's told me full-heartedly it sucked.
