We're planning on a smaller animal, like a rabbit or something. We already know how he feels @CourtneyFromWendys he was growling and barking at the neighbors and he gets scared of all the noises. I have work today and not a wink of sleep either.

So what now? You're just gonna return him? and then somebody else gets him and returns him? And so on so forth? Just so unfair for him. Sounds pretty selfish that you're not willing to try and help him get adjusted and would just rather "return" him like he's some pair of shoes you bought.

I've raised many dogs and my family has too, and I just think this thought process you have is just so wrong. Poor thing. Just saying. But good luck...

Yeah, you animal hater.

RM, please understand, we're not returning him because of him, there's actually a lot more personal stuff behind. But for now, the best public excuse I can give for returning him is a family of 2 can't look after him. We don't have the time or energy to do so. I can start a forum PM with you if you want the private reason.

Is it because cats are better

No, I like them both equally. I offered the owner babysitting whenever need be because we can look after him, just not full time.

Why are you so intent on collecting animal?

There's a personal reason for that as well.
