You could get a hybrid hard drive. They sell ones that contain a SSD and a regular hard drive in one

You don't want a hybrid they are horrible. Just get ssd i love them and will never use hdd again

My laptop has slots for 2 hard drives, with the ports required. I'm just wondering if I should keep the 2 HDD's I have now, and grab an external, so I can reduce the load on them. Or grab an SSD/Larger HDD, to increase overall speed.

How full are they? If very full then go external. If they are both not that full I would go with 120 gb SSD for OS and select games, and probably a 2/3 TB HDD.

So, when I bought the computer, it was advertised as a 500 gb HDD, simple enough. Turns out they ran 2 HDD's partitioned at about 240 gb, each. And I've been filling them up pretty rapidly. So, either way definitely works, if I go the SSD route, I'd pick up a 1tb HDD, with a probably 60 gb SSD.
