I dont really like Gengar or Salamence. I really like Reuniclus, tho. My favorite pokemon as of right now are Omanyte (because the mofo is cute and his evolution is badass.) and Mega Swampert. Yes, I choose my favorites design-wise and try to make them useful in-game.
