Dota is really hard to learn, I have 500 hours and dont even know all the items by heart yet. The community is terribly mean, but if you can get past that its pretty fun. Just dont expect to play with nice people or people who speak English. I can play with you if you decide you want to.

Oh, and an average good game takes about an hour, and going afk for 5 minutes or disconnecting punishes you.
