Windows8 is still filled with bugs. And I really dislike the misssing startmenu on the left and that everything is in fullscreen all the time. I recommend Windows7 but that's my opinion.

i'm gonne skip 8. Still running on 7 and i'm happy with it. 8 is a bit too chaotic for me

I'd stick with 7. XP was greatly used through the flop that was Vista and even well into Win7 years. Windows 7 has been cleaned up and ironed out so I think it should last for a while. Win8 is just about gimmicks at this point.
