Crouching to jump or teleport is strictly inferior to holding right-click. It slows movement, making the Hale more vulnerable and limits their range of movement through a super jump.

The crouching method is only ever used by new and inexperienced Hales that don't know any better, and it punishes them severely.

Removing the crouch method "limits your options", but it also forces new Hales to learn the superior method of Super Jumping, ultimately making Hale easier to learn.

Removing it also prevents the risk of accidentally jumping while crouch jumping across gaps or onto props.

Using crouch to try and Super Jump or Teleport is visually a dead giveaway that the Hale player is going to do it, giving everyone who's watching the Hale player at that moment time to prepare. Using crouch needs to be removed in order to give the Hale player the element of surprise.

A few hales have benefits with using crouch for super jump, as demopan can only use weigh down when using crouch to originally jump (Whether this is for an old config of the boss or not it did happen). I find letting the players decide of how they want to super jump allows them to become accustom to the server easier rather than forcing one way only. While I may be with the minority mindset on this issue, I quite like the double option of mouse 2 or crouch (Although I will admit I almost never use crouch but in certain scenarios I will).

This is Versus Saxton Hale not Freak Fortress 2

Generally when the config is changed in VSH it is also changed in FF2. So voicing my opinion from there.

It'd be kind of weird for the FF2 config to be changed if it's just for VSH's config considering both have different weapon and boss configs...

it has happened before
example for weapon; when vsh nerfed pyro airblast, also effected ff2
shit happens

Which is weird since VSH and FF2 are 2 completely different config setups, unless Bot didn't set the configs up correctly for the 2 game modes...
Then again... both game modes do share map pools which is highly obnoxious... and will most likely never get changed to be separate....
