I have made many threads on this topic but Bottiger sees fit to keep us at the same unpaid level as players.

I have been playing most of today as I am COVID positive and no longer symptomatic I have a lot of time today after being bedridden for 8 days (literally). On my return to my favourite game, I am hit with something that has always been a problem to me.

I refuse to donate anymore to Skial because I have tried to improve this place but Bottiger refuses to listen to anything unless your name is Jermaphobe. So I simply stopped donating, but I still put my free time in to this place administrating, handling admin apps, player reports and ban appeals as often as I see them pop up. I don't have as much free time as other admins here, but I still claim what I can when I can.

One little thing I ask which is breaking my game recently, isn't to pay us volunteers, that'd be impossible and frankly I wouldn't want it. But, give us autobalance immunity. You've rejected this before citing that we have !swap, which instantly swaps us teams. However, this is becoming a regular theme in my game play. I used to use /swap, but it doesn't record them in chatlogs, so now I will use !swap so we have a record on how often my game play is being affected by autobalance.

I have now given up trying to play as I cannot play on my team with my regulars.

Now you might ask, why am I placing my self above players who are also being balanced? Well, I am not. I am simply asking for one little thing as a sort of payment for what I do for Skial and what I continue to do for Skial.

I main engineer, meaning I build my nest usually in the sewers (I am a sewer rat, you got me!). It's unreasonable and not feasible to expect me, and others who are the same, to play knowing we'll just get balanced.

I know you'll reject this, but please give me a reason why before you do.

Also... I think @Zeke Aileron™ needs to pay for all admins to have a years donator, Just doing it for one person, that's like racism or something.

If it was possible, maybe, but sadly i know something like this is way too good to happen at any point, plus i don't exactly give people free donor.

It can be argued that autobalance immunity could be included, but I think for now, what we have is fair compensation for the amount of work our admins are expected to do. There are about 10 reports per day for like 20 admins, and there is no pressure to even resolve them in a timely manner.

1) Who in the right mind would give donors kick ban or mute? ... that is moderator/admin only, that isn't a perk, that's a tool we have to manage the servers
2) No clip? When can we use this except on Idle/trade that wouldn't get us reported? Please explain that to me
3) Swap, yes. But after leaving to handle reports, I often start back at 0 points and get autobalanced because I am low-pointed. As seen in my original post. I'd rather lose swap and gain autobalance immunity.
4) Reserved slots? How many times have I complained to you that while trying to resolve an active complaint, I was unable to join a full server, to be shrugged off by you? We do NOT have reserved slots.
5) 1 report a month? Is that why you've ignored mine and Jermas request for literally a year to MANAGE your INACTIVE admins and boot them so we can get more without looking bulky? Admins which literally have handled nothing in more than a year?

I want to thank those who did buy me donor, I absolutely do not want to sound ungrateful as I am very grateful for the generosity of others (I love watching "I saved the dog or deer" videos to see human kindness!), but it wasn't your job to do that, it's bottigers job to recognise the work we do and update his age-old system and for once, for ONCE, listen to the feedback he's being given which people support. It might be his community, he might run it and manage the maps, but HE signed up to do that just like we did. He doesn't pay for the servers, the donations do, Bottiger probably does on par the work we do with reports, getting shit thrown at us by players and handling the forums, not to mention the internal politics.

There are actually Garry's Mod and Counter-Strike servers where you can pay to be admin. It's the dumbest shit I've ever seen and they have dogshit admins because of it.

That was us. Lol. Back in 2008-2013 we had 5$ for a single server, 10$ for a platform, 50$ lifetime for a platform, and 100$ lifetime for all platforms. It worked out though. I forgot how much admins we had but it was somewhere around 1000. Part of my job was keeping track of all the logs from every single server in TF2. There was actually barely any admin abuse.

we do, you can't join when the server is 33/32 because the reserved slot is taken.

So what you're saying is, we don't have a reserved slot? A reserved slot, to me, is a slot only we can use. And I'd only use for admin work.
A reserved slot that we can't use isn't reserved.

There is only one reserved slot. Admins and Donors can both access that slot. That is the 33rd slot And there is no possible way to have more than 33 slots on TF2, TF2 will not allow it.
